Passport and Visa

stock-photo-4781776-world-travelA Passport is required for all citizens and permanent residents of the United States for International Travel by Air or land. Filing for a passport is the responsibility of the traveler; we are here to answer your questions.

Effective 06/01/2009: If taking a “closed loop cruise” from the United State, this means departing and returning to the same US port, other identification is acceptable. The documents you may take in place of a passport are an original birth certificate and government issued ID, i.e. drivers license, state issued ID or Military ID. If you do not have an original birth certificate you should request a certified copy from the state you were born in. I f you need help in filing for your birth certificate contact us and we will send you a link specific to your birth state.

NOTE: The links below allows you to fill out the form you need to file for a passport, once done print it to submit with the required documentation and payments. Make a copy of what you are sending the Passport office. Simple errors can cause you to miss a trip, wrong gender, errors in your name. Reveiw carefully, and allow plenty of time should there be a need to have it corrected before your trip.

There are different forms for specific situations when filing for a passport, here are three of the most common types.

New & First Time Passports

This is for citizens who

  • Have never been issued a U.S. passport or
  • Are under age 16 or
  • Were under age 16 when your previous passport was issued or
  • Your most recent U.S. passport was issued more than 15 years ago or
  • Your most recent U.S. passport was lost or stolen or
  • Your name has changed since your previous U.S. passport was issued and you are unable to legally document your name change

Renewal Passport

Renew by Mail if your most recent U. S. Passport:

  • Is undamaged and can be submitted with your application and
  • Was issued when you were age 16 or older and
  • Was issued within the last 15 years and
  • Was issued in your current name or you can legally document your name change.

Passport Card

This new travel document can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry, NOT by air. Although this card is convenient it is primarily used by citizens who live in states along our borders that frequently visit the countries listed. The Passport Card is NOT VALID for International Travel. Click here for further information.

Tourist Visa

A Visa may be required depending on your travel itinerary.
