Airline Baggage Rules

http://www.dreamstime.com/royalty-free-stock-image-luggage-cart-image38443626Baggage Requirements vary by airline, please click on the airline logo below to check the latest baggage allowance and charges for your scheduled flight. Charges and allowances are subject to change. How to determine if you have the correct luggage size: All airlines give the Linear Size in both inches and centimeters for baggage allowance. To determine if your bag is the correct size; measure the height, width and length of the bag and add the numbers together. If the total is the allowed size or less you are good to go. See additional fees for oversize and overweight luggage.

Luggage Embargo: Some airlines implement an embargo on excess luggage during certain seasons of the year to certain countries. This means they will not allow more than two checked bags. If you plan on checking more than two bags contact your airline to see if your date is affected.

TIP: The links below will take you to the actual airlines baggage requirements page for checked baggage. Don’t forget to check the requirements for carry on too.
